Pri Cesarju, Neapolitan Pizzeria — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Kamnik

We loved staying at this property! Room was modern and very clean. We booked a room with king bed and a sofa bed which was perfect for our family of 3. Bathroom was newly tiled and had modern fixtures. Room was very quiet and there were blackout curtains that you could close if you chose to. All rooms require use of steps which isn’t a problem for us. One minor thing, towels were a bit rough and scratchy.||While the accommodations were very good, what made the stay excellent were the hosts. Frank, the owner, really cares about his guests and went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed. The breakfast for 6 euros was outstanding (fresh fruit, eggs to order, meat, cheese, cereal, coffee to order, etc). Katya was so sweet, and like Frank, provided excellent service.||Room prices are standard depending on room type and we had no surprises. Billing exactly as expected.||Kamnik is a nice small town with a large municipal pool open to the public (3 euro pp). Great location to visit Velika Planina and also Ljublana.||If we ever return to Slovenia will definitely...

I wanted to try a new pizzeria and decided to give this one a shot! The place is very rustic and homey. They have outdoor and indoor seating (during summer, idk about winter) and they have maaaany tables! The service was quick. I wouldn’t say it was bad or good, but it was just neutral. They spoke English very well and they gave smiles (which is rare for service in slovenia) so I would say, service was not bad. We had 2 margherita pizzas; one with grilled chicken and the other with arugula and spicy salami (it wasn’t very spicy). As all the other reviews say, the dough was incredible. The crust was soft and delicious! Like heaven. The pizza itself was also quite good. I loved the sauce, the cheese and the salami. It was good, not out of this world, but just good. It’s a pizza that will satisfy your craving for good pizza. I would come back again if I were in the area :) (prices are reasonable. and pizzas are bigger than they look...

A nice guest house with very clean and tidy rooms and a good and hearty breakfast. The owner who welcomed me was very friendly and correct. The registration itself was quick and easy. As I personally did not have an EU plug converter with me (only an American one), he immediately gave it to me for the duration of my stay, at my request. And it's free. Very commendable. In the house itself, where the guest rooms are upstairs, you will find a pizzeria downstairs in the guest house, where they prepare pizzas in the Napolitano style.
