We did stop here by chance. 4 adults plus one child. The food was great. Half of the service staff was excellent the other half made it hard to get their attention. So I guess both can happen to you.

The food was great but after we got the food the service staff changed and then it was really frustrating to get another drink or coffee or even to pay. So very mixed feelings here.

Passed by quite often, never had time to stop.... Now I fully regret! What a cool place to stay and enjoy delicious food! Just take the first exit after passing Ljubljana in direction to Trieste/Koper, pass the traffic light straight ahead and take the first small road to the right Handside. Not the slightest thing to complain about. Really great hospitality and meals for a very reasonable price. My honest compliments - great...

There are two restaurants serving authentic Slovenian food few hundred meters one from another. People from Ljubljana usually prefer one of the two but it's a matter of personal taste since both are great. At Gorjanc I love "telecja pecenka" and it's always Tender and tasty as it should be.
