Beautiful setting! It's unfortunate that our waiter Andrew was not very attentive or professional. We had to ask for salt and pepper twice during which time our food got cold. We received a coke instead of a coke zero clearly because of lack of interest and 0 listening skills. Our questions were answered with 'ya" or "na" and overall it was a disappointing service experience. Not once was our wine poured or empty tins removed from the table. We weren't asked if we needed anything and everything we clearly needed we had to call him over and specifically ask for... like ice or another drink. He doesn't seem to enjoy his job and would do better in an environment were he doesn't have to interact with people or be in a service position. We frequent wine farms weekly and although this establishment is a lovely place the service put it down. I also didn't eat 3/4's of my food as I didn't enjoy that specific dish but he didn't even ask if everything was ok. Zero intrest. Lack of professional etiquette and big lack of training. Not...

We enjoyed a memorable Sunday lunch with friends at Cosecha. The Mexican food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. A highlight was having our guacamole prepared tableside by our friendly waiter, served with delicious warm black corn chips.

The restaurant is cleverly designed to frame the breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape and lake. Despite the cold and misty weather, we were comfortably seated in a warm, sheltered area, which made the whole experience feel extra magical.

While there are currently roadworks in the area, Cosecha is absolutely worth the detour. We’d recommend calling the restaurant for directions when booking, as GPS isn’t always reliable in the area. Let this small inconvenience be part of the adventure. It leads to something...

So nearly perfect! Lovely setting and service and the menu is excellent. We loved the guacamole which is made at the table for you. We shared some starters. The stuffed jalapenos were delicious but the croquettas completely lacked salt. The same was true of the black bean and feta dip. The feta strangely tasted of nothing and the beans had no seasoning. Once we added salt it was delicious. The main courses were more successful. The jalapeno black bean salad was delicious and my daughter's burrito was delicious too (and huge!!) . Nice drinks selection too if you didn't want wine. We visited having booked lunch to coincide with our arrival on the wine tram and in our two hour stay also had time for a small...

Cosecha restaurant at Noble Hill wine estate Fresh latin cooking with vineyard views. The name cosecha, Spanish for "harvest", reflects the location next to the working harvest area where grapes are sorted and crushed at Noble Hill wine estate. We have visited here for years and the quality of food is always very high, - fresh seasonable ingredients cooked with a Mexican flair. We choose to have guacamole for a starter - this is made at your table, you can have it as spicy as you want, and we chose high spice - WOW brilliant. Most food here is served accompanied by tacos and spice with Latin influence, which makes a welcome change from the normal international cuisine you get here in South Africa.
