The food had been good. Some we felt could use a tad more flavour, overall extremely well cooked and great for those who like to share an assortment. Great wine options with competitive pricing. They cater well from anything to couples up to large parties. Where the let down was tonight was unfortunately the service. The waiter had been friendly and chirpy. Her timeliness and attentiveness however not good at all. We waited over 40 min for our food, where she only came to let us know around 35 min it being due to a big table that ordered before us. After we had finished our meal we had waited 20 min to ask for the bill with no waiter in sight. After getting up to find the waiter and ask for the bill. She then proceeded to take another tables order and bring out their drinks before bringing the card machine. Taking another 10-15 after the bill was dropped to where payment was made. Overall a good experience and we would definitely return. Just hope the service is improved for our next visit.

OMW! LOVED the line fish ceviche! Its the best thing I've had in such a long time, it really is a must try! (Also actually beautifully served, I just forgot to take a phote, will defs next time! ) I normally go for oysters they always fresh and delicious, have also had fried squid heads here and the salmon sashimi everything is always great The wine list is very good and the restaurant is classy yet comfortable. I dont find them too expensive as I had oysters at John dorys (of all places) a while ago and Salmon & Brine were actually slightly cheaper Highly recommended for a good meal in Paarl!

Excellent lunch on a sunny winter afternoon, the outdoor seating was a lovely atmosphere. Food was exceptional - oysters, pork pot stickers, sushi (rainbow, tiger, rock shrimp maki, spicy salmon tartare). We enjoyed the Vendôme Chenin Blanc, supporting the local farm, it paired well with the food. The owner, Cameron, was there and went around greeting all the guests/chatting - this surely speaks to his passion and personality (loved the chat). Our waitress Gemma was also top notch! Highly recommend and we'll go back!

We had a very bad birthday experience the Sushi was good, but we got served the wrong order. I had quite a few raw mussels in my plate. The chef confirmed it after a swallowed three raw ones, although the manager insisted it was only one.

We received the bill, with the raw mussels added to my bill. After complaining and asking for the manager they then sent a different waiter to let us know they would take 20% of our mussels. We asked for the manager again. He finaly arived and insisted that the 20% is fair, while making a scene in the restaurant.

He finally, agreed unwillingly to take the mussels of out bill. Never dit i ever receive any apology. The manager was very nice at firs, but very unprofesional once we had a query. He didnt want to come speak to us and sent his untrained waiter to try and do...

I went then there days after their opening. I was unfortunately a bit disappointed at the quality of food I received that evening. I ordered of their Japanese hot menu. I got the steak which was extremely subpar. They served it with undercooked oven chips and extremely bland and watery bok choy. I asked for medium rare and got blue. The sushi was average but the seafood is good. The menu is way too large, it’s like the owner didn’t really know what kind of restaurant to open. With such a large menu it’s hard to know what you’re looking for. Also there were pieces of soggy paper in my food which was disgusting. I don’t know if I will come back or recommend this to...
