I see this is not the first incident of this nature... The woman cooking my grilled calamari & hake had her entire mask under her chin!! (I took a photo) This while she was shouting and laughing and chatting to her Co workers. (2 of them also having only their mouths covered and a third with her mask clinging for dear life to her bottom lip!) Ms chin-mask boxed my food - mouth and nose still uncovered and then buggered up my order by adding chips instead of salad. The cashier noticed & corrected her. So what does she do? She hauls the chips out - no clean box. My fish and calamari now drenched in chip oil!! (only discovered that she had not replaced the box when I got home). I'm so disgusted. Fishaways stay away. Bought the hake and fishcake combo for R125. Fishcakes were off. Both hake portions were burnt. One of the hakes were raw even after looking burnt meaning that the grills were not clean. Chips were cold, they did not have rice. Just poor food management overall. Called them to them know that the fishcakes were off and hake was burnt. They did apologize but no resolution as their shop was about to close.

This has to be the worst snoek and chips I have ever had. The snoek was over cooked and dry and the chips were under done. I mean the snoek was still raw inside in some places but almost burnt on the outside. It seems this is the service you get when you walk in 20 minutes before they close as they know you can't come back. Then there was a lady opening and closing some poor souls meal more than 10 times and the driver who came to collect even complained. So...
