Fishtales Sunridge Village — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

The staff were standing right next to each other all talking at the top of their voices. I was the only client and the noise level was akin to a shebeen or a disco! The fish was overcooked and dry with not enough salt and the chips were soggy. Although when placing the order, I stated that we wished to eat in but when the meal was ready we were advised that they had no knives and the plastic fork was of such a poor quality one could scarsely get into a chip. As a regular customer, I’m appalled by tonight's experience—this was my last visit. I waited over 40 minutes for my order while others strolled in, placed their orders, and left with food. I was met with the charming excuse of “It’s coming,” as if that somehow justifies the snail's pace of service. This isn't the first time I've endured this torturous wait, and honestly, the fish and chips aren't even worth the hassle. The service is a joke, and the food barely qualifies as decent. Fish Tales is losing out as my favorite to go to fish & chippy...pity I did not take pics to share! Dry fish and oily chips...tasteless - horrible chips.
