This is a definite must, Nineteen 33 is a beautiful spot for musicians to showcase their talents, the acoustics inside the venue create an audible orgasm, the sound is just perfect,

I attended the 2nd edition of the Monday Night Blues and was pleased to see a full house in support local Blues Guitarist, Mr Rob Thompson and The Line Backers who I might just add, rocked the house to such an extent that the audience demanded encore after encore, needless to say, the band delivered the goods and rocked on with some Chuck Berry and Jimi Hendrix much to the crowds delight.

The only thing stopping this from a solid party was the daft curfews that are in place, but, being a Monday, I guess that's a good thing.

This will be a monthly event and I'd seriously recommend that you get some tickets and brace yourself to be transported to Blues Heaven.

On a side note, the menu is proper, just right for the setting, I enjoyed a Nacho Burger (delicious is an understatement) and my Mates shared a platter which was a definite winner.

Mom's night out. Although I moderately enjoyed the evening with friends there were a few disappointing factors. The entertainer sang very few songs. I did not enjoy Jenny Gault, never have. The ticket did not indicate this lady would be a guest speaker. If I want to listen to a motivational speaker I will choose one and pay for it. The platters are over-priced. Half the plate is filled with starch in the form of biscuits, pretzels and bread.(few olives, bit of cheese, few sundried tomatoes, tiny bowl of pesto and olive oil and balsamic vin). You have to search for the meat on the platters at R195 per platter. They do make a very good gin with grapefruit slices in. Pity they ran out of grapefruit. Waiters are friendly and quick. Love...

Really unique concept and great drinks - a gin lover's dream! Friendly owner who came over to say hi and is clearly passionate about his venture. We went on a quiet evening and had some drinks and snacks. We're from Cape Town where Covid-19 restrictions are a lot stricter so we were quite surprised to see staff with lowered masks or no masks at all. Towards the end of our night, the group seated next to us started smoking inside and continued to do so until we paid and left which was disappointing considering the limited ventilation.
