UPDATE: With this trip to East London,we had to take a different route and as I really wànted Romans Pizza,I immediately Googled and found one,on our way,in Cambridge!!Couldn't believe it.We'll,if you read my previous reviews on Romans, you'll see that it's àlways about Romans,in King's Mall Gonubie.I was a bit scary,to try pizza,from another franchise,but I ordered my favorite,nonetheless.Thin based,with triple cheese, mushrooms and bacon and hubby a seafood, this time.When we got home,it was nearly supper time already,but we were punished with loadshedding,again.We ate at 21H00,after heating it in the microwave.Our first bites were slow and full of hesitation and we waited,for that rubbery cheese and hard crust,usually after reheating in the microwave,when we ordered from other pizzariers,or restaurants...Nothing like that,at all!!It was as good as fresh over the counter.The same WOW,as àlways.Because it was late already,I had only two pieces and yesterday,we couldn't reheat,as it was loadshedding agàìn,so I had my doubts about cold pizza... Needess to say,it was delicious.No tough,chewy,hard and oily cheese pieces,that needed to be removed,as it can't be swallowed,like we got at every other pizzariers,we ordered pizza from.I can definitely,in all honesty recommend Romans Pizzarier in Cabridge,as well.So now we know,that loadshedding will not affect the taste and texture of a Romans pizza!! Well yesterday I went to get a pizza pie for my son and I. I got to the door and rightly so I had forgotten to put my mask on which I did.... Pure forgetfulness as we had not been to any other shop. However there were customers in the store with masks under their chin and man phoning for directions for a delivery with no mask on. Surely what is right must be right for another. Well it took 45 minutes for 2 pizza pies. This is not the first time this has happened. I only go to the Cambridge store put of convenience. Staff arrived while we were waiting and they didn't even sanitise their hands when entering. On a previous occasion the cashier didn't even listen to me I had to repeat my order 3 times to her and the manager just sat there on his computer asking if the drivers had been paid the previous night. I have also received pasta that is burnt at the bottom. I really won't be returning. I'd rather go to 2 Brothers who have friendly staff and are accurate with time and...

Easy to find and easy open access. If you want a good tasting pizza that is way better than Debonairs then Roman's is the place to go. Not a wood fired pizza. Mass produced and heated in an oven but still taste great. The thick base feels like eating bread with a pizza topping. Go for the thin base which is still bread like but tasty. Great specials. They deliver.

UPDATE 11 MONTHS LATER: I ordered a special of 2 large pizza, 2 pizza pie and a coke.

DUMBEST IDEA EVER. Nowhere on Uber Eats or Mr Delivery in the selection section was there a description of what was on the Pizza. My kids ordered Bacon Supreme and got what they ordered but not what they wanted. There are more onions, peppers and mushrooms on it than bacon. What a waste of money. If only they informed us of what was on it in the App. I am so disappointed I will never go back to Romans. You can't expect kids to know what is on a Pizza if the only clue is...
