Sacramento restaurant — Restaurant in Eastern Cape

Hello Elzaan shoe man, food was good but I'm really disappointed about the service. We had such good service the previous time. Firstly table number 9 where you seated us today was not as I indicated twice on whatsapp. I wanted the table that is not under cover as both my husband and I smoke. We also have the Seaview which my 90 year old mom enjoys. Our waitress which was great the previous time started off great. This was our actual Christmas lunch as we did nothing yesterday. We had untimely death this week. We arrived promptly at 1130 but were served late understandably because you were busy. That's the reason for my booking almost a month in advance so we could receive preferential treatment seeing mom is used to eating a certain time. We placed our drinks orders along with meals order at same time. Then there was confusion with our 2nd drinks order and had to wait again. I usually don't complain, but I'm really disappointed. Hopefully future bookings will be treated better. It's such a great place but today we traveled so far to have a special lunch we didn't even stay for desert and none was off Management reply: Apologies for disappointing unfortunately a reservation only books the space hopefully we can do better next time.

So no mention about not receiving our requested table or apology for serving late, getting order wrong, waiting for food and drinks and literally making it the most unpleasant experience ever. Won't be returning. I'll rather go to Barnacles for a local...

Sacramento Restaurant is one of the very few, if not the only restaurant in the bay that welcomes dog lovers with there fery four legged friends. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and also offers a pedigree menu. If that's not enough for you. Wait till you step inside to embrace the well put together historical pieces in a time capsule, that's pared with beautiful decor. From the old ornaments, to the beautiful and timeless portrait of Dutch ships, the old rifles and swords, to the Canon that hangs about the door post. If your a lover of history as iam, You would not want to leave. They are a family business that takes pride in customer servic with a warm heart. It was the first time i have ever been to the restaurant. But i must commented them on their hospitality, friendly staff and amazing service. If you would like to break away. Even just to take a drive around the marine, catch the sea breeze. Please make sure to pay Sacramento a visit. Take a lovely walk or hike, the get something to eat at the Sacramento Restaurant while watching the waves breaks as you enjoy the ocean view. Thank you for making my experience memorable. 2/5 - Was disappointed. Service terrible but food OK.

Decided to take the family out for an early morning breakfast. When we arrived restaurant was about 3rd full (we had a pick of tables).

It started going downhill from the get go. The Lipton Iced Tea had expired and tea was brought without milk. When asked about the milk the smallest milk jug I have ever seen was brought out and was not enough for my last cup of tea. My son just wanted a glass of water (he normally orders later). Note that a glass of water (from the tap) will cost you R1,00... But you will find that out only when you get the bill.

We ordered and firstly there was only 3 cutlery sets brought out for the 4 of us. Then my meal was brought out without the toast that's supposed to come with it. Once my wife and son were almost finished I noticed that their meals did not come with the mushrooms that is supposed to come with it...

Like I said service was terrible - food OK for what we got. Will I return anytime soon or recommend it...
