I have contacted the link the owner sent below. It’s been over a week now and nothing has been done, no phone call, email nor text from steers. So for me and my family Steers Greenfields is a no go area moving forward.
Was sold a beef burger instead of a vegetarian burger. When I asked for the correct order to be sent to my house, I was told to use my own petrol.
On Tuesday evening I ordered a sharing meal at steers and asked for one of the king steers to be vegetarian. Both the king steers were meat, when my daughter ate her smaller burger she complained that it wasn’t meat. That’s when I the vegetarian in the house realised I was half way through the wrong burger.
I called the store and they said their manager would sort it out the next day. I said the least they can do is exchange the child’s burger tonight because she won’t eat, and refer the vegetarian who ate meat case to the manager the following day. The gut said I must bring the order to the store, I asked if they can please come pick it up from my house. He said I had come there myself, and I must come again myself. I asked him for the managers number because I was in utter disbelief.
I called the manager, she said she will get the store to bring my child a new burger. She will check the cameras the next day and get back to me as to what happened with the vegetarian burger. And how I ended up eating meat.
She never called me, today I call the store and ask to speak to her. She says she forgot to get back to me, but I was never meant to be sold a vegetarian meal in a sharing option to begin with, so I told her the teller was in proxy of that decision not me. She added that because I has eaten the meat option she can’t replace my order, all she can say is sorry. So I asked why did she say she will get back to me if all she had to say is sorry. She said I had only said I needed the child’s order replaced. Which is a lie, she had said she’ll investigate and get back to me the following day.
So I say to her it’s fine if they won’t fix my vegetarian order at this point I want no more food from them, can they refund my money. She said not when you’ve eaten, you should have never eaten ( how was I to know I was eating poison, they fed me meat! And are unapologetic about it)
I asked her for the steers head office complaints number she said I must go on Facebook or twitter. I ask her if there’s no number to call, she said no because I don’t have these apps she mentioned. She said no, I asked her for the store owners number, She continued to say I must stop being silly and wasting their time.

Once I ordered 4 burgers and guess what, I get home and not one of them has patties on. We were at work one Saturday, ordered grilled quater chickens, guess what? We received cooked chicken. Today my son orders 3 × wacky Wednesdays and there's no sauce on the burgers. I mean I've been ordering wacky Wednesdays from other Steers' and what I get from them and what I got today tells me that your service is still as poor as it was. I personally never placed my foot in Greenfields Steers again after the "I'm sorries" I got and they're so casual about it. " The Customer Is King" and teach your staff to concentrate and stop talking their own business during working hours., maybe than they would concentrate on customers...

The driver returned another 40 min later with a replacement, this time my daughter was in bed. Mighty King Steer ordered at a mighty high price and a normal King Steer received. All the burgers were ICE cold and So soggy, obviously having been on a trip to who knows where that it felt like we were holding a ball of dough.
