Overall I had a good experience. Dorothy, our server, was excellent, friendly, patient and polite. The other staff members including Kaugelo were also pleasant. The place has a lovely atmosphere, a beautiful view of the neighbourhood, good music, and the volume is just perfect. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The restrooms are clean. It's great whether you just want to eat or even if you want to work. There's electric outlets available.

Now about the food: The burgers were truly amazing - tasty, filling, and fresh. The potatoes chips taste so good too. The beef patties are perfect. Probably some of the best burgers out there.

The banana bread, however, was such a disappointment. I would not recommend that you order it. It was stale, barely tasted any banana in it, and absolutely not worth the price. I really don't understand what their vision with this was because banana bread is usually such a good product but they failed in making it here.

The red cappuccino could use some more cinnamon dissolved properly into the drink. They sprinkle very little on top and the taste barely gets through. I'd also love for hot drinks to be actually hot and not lukewarm.

The mocha could be improved by adjusting the cocoa to coffee ratio for better taste. I've had plenty of better tasting ones before and the one here could be better.

The chocolate muffin was good, fresh and tasty.

You would expect such a well known franchise like bootlegger to serve quality food, however this was not the case. I ordered an omelette with beef mince, the mince had such a bad smell that it instantly made me nauseous. The fries had an old oil taste as well as the bread. Its either the oil used is cheap or the oild is not changed regularly. Croissant was stale and it actually crumbled. I told the waiter about my experience, his response was "please speak to the manager" and the manager did not really seem to care about it.

Abstain if you care about your health!...

Food was great. Drinks was lekker. Staff was wonderful.

Cliff, the store manage, was super friendly and gave some insight into why the food was so delicious and our experience was better than other bootlegger chains. Something to do with it being Halaal. I couldn't help but agree.
