Del Forno Bromhof Village — Restaurant in Gauteng

Big update: so after 4 years of visiting here regularly I'm not sure if I can go back! Third time in 6 months the order has been totally wrong! I've also had plastic in my food and was dismissed by the kitchen staff - your glass window is wonderful for watching responses. They simply don't care! How is it that delivery staff are allowed to congregate in the kitchen - do you not want to meet H&S basic requirements (I'm happy to explain where you fall massively short and have photos to prove the same) . Your manager is useless/ ineffectual! How is it I've been to you regularly for 4 years and only when I call for a manger do I eventually meet her? This isn't a 'manager' issue, but a management one.. I'm so disappointed as to where Del Forno Bronhof has deteriorated to this year ...

This visit was later evening and unexpected, but everything was great: from the meet-and-greet to the food and drinks. Menu is wonderfully varied, enough choice for just about any tastes. Their pizzas after especially good with a stunning thin base. Will definitely return and explore lunch options. We went for lunch as a family in December. The main meal was delicious but when my mother ordered a tiramisu dessert it came as an ice cream sundae and didn't resemble tiramisu at all. When we queried this the manager was full of excuses and said this was how they have made this dessert for 20 years (even though they haven't existed as Delforno in Bromhof for that long) and became unnecessaryly VERY aggressive and pointed his finger in my face telling me to be quiet that he wasn't speaking to me but my mother. Since I was paying for the meal I see no reason not to be querying the dessert. Unfortunately as long as that manager is there I would not recommend this restaurant unless you don't mind an aggressive manager if the food or service is not up to standard. I did share this privately with the owner first to avoid this going on social media but got no reply for 5 days. Firstly, your app stated that the food will be delivered in 45 mins and it came 90 mins late and cold. I understand it was Friday and I said leave it, as the food will still be good.

What really upset me is the state and condition of the food and delivery...the pizza box was bent and folded and all the pizza was smashed and stuck to the box. Unfortunately cannot attach photos which I did send on email.

I could not eat or heat the pizza properly and it felt like a waste. I also ordered a pasta and a falafel wrap which I plan to have tomorrow, I just hope these are fine. But the pizza was a complete waste as could not enjoy it. I expected better delivery of the...
