On the 18th August 2001, I ordered Steers for lunch and the food took long to be delivered when it was eventually delivered, the food was cold and the chips did not look good and some of it was packaged in unbranded packaging and some in Fishaways packaging.
Later in the day, I decided to order supper since it was son's birthday and he wanted Steers so I placed an order to collect hoping that it would be better this time. However, it was even worse. I ordered a Sharington Meal and one burger was supposed to have all garnish while the other one was supposed to have the garnish removed. Also, the one with garnish was supposed to be swopped from beef to chicken and both burgers were supposed to have a cheese slice added.
What I got was both beef burgers with garnish removed from both burgers and no cheese slices. The burgers were tasteless and also cold. The milkshakes were put in small cups (which is not the correct size cups) and the lids could not close so they used stickers from Fishaways to try and seal the cups a bit. As soon as I got to my car, I had to prevent it from spilling by holding onto the lids while placing the cups on my rubber mat which meant that I had my hands on the cups while driving which is dangerous.
I have attached pictures of the burgers and the milkshakes as well as my invoice showing what I ordered and what I had received.

B. Got a Staff member to run after me to tell me they don't do Sandwiches, can they make me a burger instead, i said but its on your menu, so not to have an argument i agreed to take a burger instead
C. Came back before in 10 min (Some complaints are about time at this store) to be told by the Manager that i have to pay the difference to the burger. To which I responded that they really want to make an argument about this issue? I was willing to leave the store to complain to head office for no service but taking my money, which would also cause a legal issue with Certain Statutes of Consumers.
D. Asked instead to be refunded my Sandwich in full, to which they could not do this, but instead the manager went to speak to someone, who I later was informed was his Boss. Who said I can Go with the Burger Instead (Was by then cold, as per others experiences).

Well an hour later & my order was still not delivered. I called Steers back & used option 2 to ask what happened to my order but no one answered that phone or acknowledged it. I called 4 times later but to no avail. I eventually got hold of Steers again on option 1 & spoke to a guy who advised me that you are having problems with the internet & my order on my cell number could not pick up any orders.He then advised that i need to speak to the manager Portia and tried to transfer me & i got cut off. I then called again now the 5th time to get hold of another consultant Pulengย which promised to find out what happened to my order & that she would call me back. Still no call back. If there were problems with the internet why were we not advised when we called & i would of ordered from another food company. Well I am now still waiting for feedback.
