Fishaways — Restaurant in Gauteng

Honestly this is a absolute Joke . I ordered Food for my Family this evening , placed my order at 18h20pm. I was told by the Cashier that my order would be ready in 15mins . Jokes on me I recieved my order at 19h10pm. I recieved cold food . Literally 4 pieces of calamari in my family platter . ICE Cold starchy Rice ,Under cooked chips and fish in pieces. My extra calamari medium was also a tiny horrible portion, chewy and COLD. I ordered 4 of my fish to be grilled only 2 were grilled horrible sliced end bits of lemon too . While I was waiting I watched your staff chewing gum , one even just stopped cooking and started at the customers literally doing nothing???, some even eating in food prep area and delivery staff walking into your food preparation area????. I watched your staff muddle up orders to please mr delivery and uber drivers instead of your actual clients in front if them. Then the staff fought with each other when a client asked there whereabouts if their order! The worst of it all is when I got my Parcel the staff did not apologise , but handed me a greasy packaged cold meal for my Family paid with my hard earned money ??? Unacceptable!!!! Load shedding is not an excuse as ther was power! Do better! If there is a manager or owner please do yourself a favour and either send your staff for customer excellence training or rethink the structure there,I am sure you would know the biggest marketing tool out there is...

I do not know who to speak to, but it is now the second time that we have ordered food from Fishaways La Montagne, and what a huge dissapointment!!

The first time we ordered, we waited for almost an hour, just to go back and find out that our order has not even been started. Eventually we got the order but the food was bland.

Today I went there again to order in the hope of change, but yet again, dissapointment. They git my order wrong, the fish is bland and extremely dry. The fried calamari(which was supposed to be grilled) feels and tastes like rubber and to be 100% truthful, I am so disgusted that I actually feel nauseous....

I will never in my life order from this store again. To think that one is craving fish and then when you get it you would rather eat nothing than what was given to you.

Step up your game or start to make serious management/kitchen management decisions.

This Fishaways is right next to Steers and I do not know if it is the same owner of both Steers and Fishaways, which is the way it is in some other cases, but if so, then sir/madam please take a look at your Fishaway store. It needs serious attention in food and staff.

If this is not the case, would the owner of Steers please consider purchasing the Fishaways next door! I do not want to use this review to boost Steers or anything, but that particular Steers makes great food with great service and...

I made an order at fishways @la montage. The order was done at @18.02 and I was advised that my food will get to me in 20min and that did not happen.

​ @18.59 I called again and I was told the driver just got in and he will be at my place in 15min, as you can guess that did not happen. ​ @19:42 I had to make another call and spoke to Lebo who then decide to advise that they only have one driver, what really pissed me off was the attitude I got from her manager Tony he even had the audacity to drop the phone. ​ it's 20:16 they still have not even called to let me know of a way forward. He does not deserve to be called a manager nor even serves customers with that level of attitude. ​ I will never ever order from fishway if they do not improve the service, I did not have to call them 3time still with no feed back.
