I went to hungry lion lilian ngoyi street for the 4th time being treated like trash as if we don't pay for the meals,at first they had this tendency of saying we are out of triple big boss burger, than they saw lot people complain they tried to do as many as they can...Than second time the doors were wild open and when we are inside they turn us away saying the is no food while we saw them gossiping that they want to go home ,what a waste of time of us waiting while we could have went to another restaurant and bought food ..Than third time we start by greeting them they don't even greet,I even told myself I won't go back to that place, but just because I love the food I went for the 4th time thinking I will find this wonderful lady because out of many she is the only apologizing on the behalf and providing good service, but today for my 4th time going there she was not in and we got the same attitude from 2 ladies that were on the cashier ,firstly we got 2 guys outside giving posted of March special ,than we entered as we are coming back from work ,when we ordered its was okay ,wait until we have to collect our food, they are busy going up and down even counting water while we are still waiting for our drink ,than on the special they advertised hot spicy sauce, than they want to give us BBQ sauce, than I ask why they choose for us as the special state what we must get,the other lady was Like give them those once we have ,it's late ...they must love their jobs or leave ,we pay with our hard earned money and they just provide a kaak service ...I am not a person who complains but I see this thing it's getting out of hand more especially when they want to go home ..from 100% of good service to 2% of service and bad one for that matter ...when even stated that we are going to report this matter ,trust me the ladies didn't care, instead two guys from outside giving posted are the one who asked what happened ..but so far ,I will rather eat elsewhere that to see myself in that bad...

Almost like chicken licken but much softer. Wings i wil order again. But lets first see. The mini loafs had funny smell to them. Dont realy know, how, fresh they were but i geus not so fresh. Pulling it out the packet it came out in pieces. Not a good sign Chips not to bad. Its, hand cut i think but there was alot of very short pieces. As if they were throwing in the scraps. Into the, packet 4 the chicken pieces. Wel i dont no how its supposed to look like or taste. The skin tasted raw as if it was just boiled and spices got thrown over it. Actualy disgusting. I only ate a drum and another piece so ive, stil got 8 pieces left. Wil see how they taste, later Getting to the pieces. They doing the customers in. Kfc u get a thigh. At hungry lion u get a, thigh thats, cut in half to make 2 pieces. U realy mean when u say 10 pieces. Cause u cant actualy call them by name Verdict. Chicken wings were nice. Coleslaw was coleslaw nothing special but im sad to say i wont return. I dont have high hopes eating the rest of the chicken pieces a bit later. I wil not order from them again even though the...
Read moreI still can't get over how good Hungry Lion hotwings are. They are less salty than Chicken Licken wings and tastier and less crunchy than KFC's dry wings. The perfect middle. Add the hotwing sauce to the mix and you are in hotwing heaven. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because Hungry Lion stores are so few and far between that you have to plan a visit to the store. I have to drive at least 15km to get to any of the 3 closest stores to my house. This particular store was very clean and well laid out and the staff was friendly and efficient, albeit located right next to a busy taxi rank. Hungry Lion needs to open more stores and stop targeting only the working class (low income) based areas as they are currently doing. Can't wait to try the triple burger as I have heard many good...
