Katy’s Palace Bar — Restaurant in Gauteng

I MANAGED A PRIVATE KOSHER FUNCTION. IT WAS CATERED BY AN EXTERNAL KOSHER CATERER THE CLIENT WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE VENUE AND THE FUNCTION IN GENERAL. SHE SAID IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE THESE ARE MY PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS AND I HAVE/WILL NOT DISCUSS ANY OF THIS WITH MY CLIENT THE SET UP STAFF WERE EXTREMELY POLITE AND VERY HELPFUL. CONSIDERING THAT THERE WERE A QUITE A LOT OF CHILDREN ATTENDING AND THE ADULTS WERE NOT A BIG DRINKING CROWD, THE BAR SERVICE WAS GOOD, BUT NOT FANTASTIC. THERE WERE MANY BARMEN STANDING BEHIND THE BAR NOT DOING VERY MUCH. NONE OF THE BARMEN ASSISTED THE BAR HANDS WITH THE CLEARING OF THE DIRTY GLASSES DURING THE FUNCTION. HENCE THE TABLES WERE NOT CLEARED THAT FAST. THE BAR COUNTER WAS NOT CLEANED ON A REGULAR BASIS, AND I HAD TO ASK THEM A FEW TIMES TO CLEAR THE GLASSES AND BOTTLES. THE GENERAL CLEANING STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. THE BATHROOMS WERE WELL MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES. THE CLEANING UP OF THE VENUE AT THE END OF THE FUNCTION WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND FAST. THEY WERE CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING THE DECOR FROM THE TABLES WHICH WAS VERY GOOD TO SEE. I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED WORKING AT THE VENUE AND WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK. I hosted my wedding reception there on the 4th of May and I couldn't have imagined a better experience.
