I have only good things to say about the food at Kauai. We enjoy the taste and eat here regularly. However, while I like the service and all the staff, I had a terrible encounter today. Being an extremely regular customer at Kauai Lanseria for a few months now, that’s the last thing I expected. The deputy manager or someone who is not at the cafe itself everyday, came up to me, while I was on an important call. Not only did she interrupt my call, she very rudely told me to not charge my power bank at their charging station. Now, once again, I am an extremely regular customer, I grab a coffee there EVERYDAY, and my husband and I eat quite regularly too at the same branch. So, we single handedly contribute significantly to the revenue. However, the extremely rude lady continues to say how I charge my power bank “everyday” (which is a complete lie) and that their electricity bill isn’t paid by Lanseria airport so even the regular customers cannot charge “gadgets” or power banks there. I politely told her that I maybe have charged my power bank a couple of times in two weeks, and I am a regular paying customer. She still maintained the extremely unprofessional tone, and told me “no, you cannot charge your power bank”. I never have a problem with company policies but one, you display such a policy in written form (being a lawyer, I know a thing or two about policies). Secondly, for me, it is more about the way she spoke. A word I can use to describe the way she was speaking to me is “scolding”. I don’t stoop to the other person’s level, so I politely said “Okay” and put the power bank in my bag. However, you can NEVER speak to a polite customer like that, be it a regular customer or a one-time customer. Had she been respectful, it wouldn’t have been a problem. But given how she interacted, safe to say, she made Kauai lanseria lose all business from my husband and I. There are more options to grab a coffee and lunch within the airport terminal. I had read negative reviews about their customer interactions before I started coming to this branch but today, I have seen it myself. I never had a problem with the service staff, (who are all lovely people), but this lady in an apparent managerial or admin position ruined my experience of...
Read moreKauai Lanseria Review I recently visited Kauai in Lanseria and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by four waiters, one of whom, Toby, stood out for his exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. He welcomed me warmly and ensured that my needs were met throughout my visit.
However, the same couldn't be said for the other three waiters, who seemed less enthusiastic about providing service. One of them, in particular, made a poor impression by asking for a tip in front of a customer, which I found to be extremely inappropriate and unacceptable.
To make matters worse, another customer who arrived after me had a terrible experience, and Toby was once again the one who stepped in to help. It's clear that there's a disparity in the level of service provided by the staff, and Kauai would benefit from emphasizing the importance of excellent customer service to all employees.
Overall, while Toby's exceptional service was a highlight, the inconsistent service from the other waiters brought down my overall experience. With some improvements in staff training and customer service, Kauai has the potential to provide a consistently excellent experience for...
Read moreWas not happy on how they did the sriracha chicken salad. Almost like they emptied the entire sauce bottle over it. Couldn’t take a photo as they removed it immediately but i went online to see what it looks like and it looked nothing like your photos online. I have also had it here before and also looked completely different, way too much sauce. The lady mentioned there is a clip that stops the sauce when it’s a portion, however I think this clip broke. The dish I was served I’m sure I would’ve tasted only the sauce. Perhaps pop by and see how they are portioning the sauce. If it’s correct, perhaps consider putting the sauce as a side portion instead so the customer can decide how much...
