KFC Epsom Downs — Restaurant in Gauteng

We placed an order via the KFC app a few minutes after 17:00 in Sunday, 31 July 2022. The order was being processed the whole time until we eventually decided to phone the store (Epsom Downs) around 17:44 to follow up as our order already had to be delivered by then, according to the app. The guy who answered our call wasn't very friendly but eventually said our order is ready, giving me the impression that our food was probably ready but just sat there. We conveniently received notification Shortly after our call that it's on our way. A few minutes after 18:00, an hour after we ordered, the food finally arrived ice old and we had to reheat it. The chicken was chewy, we couldn't finish it.

When we emailed KFC's customer care, we didn't get ANY care whatsoever (just a standard email with our case number). 4 days later and still no feedback or response. We are EXTREMELY disappointed!! It's...

I think I wrote a review before but I write another one. I don't know what scheme is happening there but there's definitely something up with charging people for an order and giving one that's slightly off thinking people wouldn't notice. I ordered 3 Dunked All stars SF, she asked, Buddy or SF, I confirmed SF. I get to the window, I'm getting SF but charged for buddy, also, I'm getting 2 orders not 3. I query, she proceeds to say, "You said Coke, so it's extra charge" which is wrong firstly, no flavour was asked, and also beside the point - The cost was wrong. With attitude she proceeds to give me my change, which was STILL wrong.

This has happened before where I bought dunked, and given Not Dunked. The thought comes - are they charging these and then pocketing the money? Something's up and the...

I have officially come to the conclusion after the last... 15 visits. We have KFC about once a week, sometimes more depending on the laziness of that week. And everytime I have opted in to donate R2... the food is 4/5*. Mostly 100% good and up to standard, fresh. Every single time I have opted OUT of donating R2, it has been disgusting, dry, old food that been sitting there from someone else's canceled order or pre prepped crap. Every. Single. Time.

It is NOT a coincidence. My husband and I said it could be at first... but after this many times? Nah. I won't be donating or eating there anymore. There's plenty of other places to choose from.

Kinda sad because there's about one or two ladies whose service is brilliant when...
