If you had asked me a month ago, I would have given this KFC a full five star. Unfortunately in the last two weeks, I have noticed that there is a significant increase in new staff and yet the service is deteriorating. On a few occasions I have noticed that they don’t serve orders according to how they are received. Newer orders are fulfilled before old ones and when you ask, there appears to be confusion about when my order was place. As things stand , they are no different than their immediate competitor next door ‘McDonalds who delivers even more atrocious service coupled with extended wait times. The whole idea of fast food joint appeal is how quickly they serve your food when you need it. Mind you I am a regular customer who makes a purchase at KFC every lunch hour for my kid. Please can you go back to your best performance that drew us away from your competition. Your staff always gave us a reason to smile and come back again. Too many workers with poor delivery doesn’t make for good business. And just this afternoon (27th of August around 16:15) one of your male workers served himself a soft drink in a large cup and scurried away while seeping the drink for himself. I couldn’t believe it cause I thought they were there to serve customers first. I hope you don’t ask me to email you details I have already outlined clearly here and am sure all those cctv cameras would have captured the soft drink escapade...
Read moreMy post is a little bit late, but better late than never right?! It was on Heritage Day, 24 September 2025. The KFC close to where I stay had already closed and I really felt like KFC for my hubby and I. I decided that I would just drive to the KFC in Farrarmere, and they were still open. They were quite full and short staffed as everyone seemed to want to end the holiday off with some finger licking good food. Ayanda had assisted me, and he advised that there would be a wait due to them making a fresh batch of Chicken, which I did not mind. The staff, although, short staffed were highly functioning and friendly. Ayanda had advised that he had gotten permission from his manager to give everyone something for the inconvenience caused, and even though my food had arrived and I had not requested anything free, he had slipped an ice-cream in to thank me for my patience. The whole team was really lovely and especially so late in the evening, it was around 9pm, and they did a great job at helping everyone and keeping them calm. Read moreToday I went through the drive through of this KFC branch and there was a spike that got into my tire at around 09:30 and these mediocre employees of KFC tell me they clean every morning when clearly that's proven to be false with all the plastic laying around the drive-thru and then they tell me that they clean up and make sure it's clean 3 times a day and coincidentally they only checked for "cleanliness" of the drive through at 10:00 a.m wich utter garbage and I had to drive with a punctured tire and after all of that they tell me that they can't compensate me for the damages to my vehicle and to top it all of the chicken that we ordered 3 pieces weren't even fully cooked through what a disgrace honestly and all of this by your astounding customer service manager...
