I had the unfortunate experience of queuing in the drive through lane for about 5 minutes and as my car got to the order point, a staff member passed by and said please proceed tot the inside of the store as the drive through was packed but the store inside was quiet.
As per her instruction I got out of the lane and passed the car in front of me and noticed there were only two cars along the drive through lane, confused at the time but I moved on anyway.
Once I made it into the store I found myself in a short queue of 2 people but several people waiting with their slips in hand. Nothing out of the ordinary.
And after about another 5 minutes passed I finally made it to the counter, great all smiles and friendly greetings. Until i gave my horrendous order of 3 McFlurry, jip a total of 3. Not 5 not 7 not a 100 but just a measly 3 in total.
So after the greetings ended I said to the lovely lady that I would like to order 3 McFlurry of which would consist of 1 Oreo McFlurry with an extra Caramel topping, and 2 identical Astro McFlurry with each one also topped up with Caramel. I was informed by the lady that there wasn't a Astro McFlurry only the Smaties McFlurry. I told her that the Smaties McFlurry is fine then.
As she repeated my order back to me which was " 3 Oreo McFlurry each with caramel topping extra and 2 Smarties McFlurry also with extra caramel topping, in total 5 McFlurry. Right? ". No wrong.
Repeating my order again a total of 3 McFlurry, 1 Oreo and 2 Smaties all with extra topping of caramel. Where I was then told the Smarties McFlurry comes with chocolate sauce. I said that's fine the more the merrier right. Wrong again. This time equalling to 7 McFlurry. Hmmm so 3 oreo, 2 smarties and 2 smarties with caramel. Nope.
So about 5 minutes of too many McFlurry, the lady decided to call for backup, and a few seconds later another friendly lady assisted me to to place the order as requested the first time within a few seconds. Wonderful and easy as I said it she jolted it down quite quickly, easily and correctly. And there I was ecstatic and relieved.
And after a few good short 15 minutes my order finally arrived, 3 McFlurry in the holder happily ever after right... Wrong. I had a small peak down as i swayed towards the door on my way out and found a tiny bit of disappointment in my stare down into the cups where my eyes met a Oreo McFlurry with no caramel, a Smarties McFlurry with no caramel and a Smarties drenched in caramel. Hmmmm. So at least one of the 3 had the extra caramel as requested about too many times.
So I returned to the receiving area where i met a pleasant young man which i showed the obvious mistake to and he was more than willing to help. Steadily grabbed the cups and doing as requested previously, yippee. After a quick minute or two he smilingly brought back the cups and great. At least one of the 2 incorrect ones made it back to me with the additional extra topping of caramel sauce.
Given the circumstances of about 40 minutes for 3 McFlurry, i just happily looked at the great slush puppies of which one was still caramel less. I decided my fate was set, and I'll just take my paid for goods and devide my caramel elsewhere in my own time as seeing that all hope was lost and my willingness for any additional requests has left my body and made my way home thinking WOW what-a-lot-i-got.
P. S I'm NOT loving it.

Room for improvement 👎🏽Drive-Thru can packed all the way to outside the gate. It is very slow. 👎🏽Limited parking space. 👎🏽It was still under renovations while I was there. So, you couldn't chill outside because of dust and noise. 👎🏽Self service points kept on shutting down/malfunctioning. 👎🏽There is no order inside, customers awaiting their orders and MD, Uber eats drivers crowd the place. 👎🏽Even if you are served with table number, you still have to collect your food from the till point. No one will bring them to your table. So, what's the point of the number?🤷🏽♂️ 👎🏽 Limited wall plugs for charging laptop/phone. 👎🏽Only 1 Guy, the one who assists customers who can't use self service points is friendly (big up bror- sorry I don't know your name)....

Drove home, opened the bag with fear But what is this? The chippies were clear! Golden, crispy, salty and right For once McDeez got it right
