I have been buying food from Roman's Pizza in Silverton from time to time for a couple of years. It has never been possible to collect my order on time, whether I order online, by phone or in the store. Lately their slack attitude has become worse. The last time I visited I had to wait 35 minutes after arriving, even though I phoned in my order beforehand. The food I got was cold and almost inedible. Last night I placed a telephonic order again and was told that the food would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at the shop exactly 15 minutes later but I had to wait again because my order wasn't ready. 20 minutes later I decided to leave because I still had not received my food. Many other people came in and collected their orders placed online and by telephone. The only way I could get the attention of the counter staff to cancel my order was to phone the shop. I ordered again today and the same thing happened again like with our last order, they send you an sms saying that your order will take approximately 55min as I am writing this review now it has been 1hour 30min, my husband phoned the store twice, with the second call we were told that there is no driver......the first call said that they are waiting for a driver not only am I paying R40 for delivery and R340 for my pizza but we are also using airtime. With our previous order my husband had to go to the store and he was told that our pizza were never made and that they did not receive the order I have proof that they even send me an order number and deducted the money. Read moreI am in charge of catering at our place of work and have on several occasions MADE THE REPEATED MISTAKE of ordering at the Silverton branch. Every time I remember too late to rather go to Willows branch. Silverton branch has incompetent staff with NO telephone etiquette, they can't speak proper English, they yell to each other over the phone whilst speaking to customers and they are DISHONEST and can't follow instructions. Lying about managers not being there when you JUST sooke to the manager, they can't even give you a price or a time estimate. Today AGAIN, they blatantly lied over the phone. Took more than an hour to deliver 250m from the branch.We will definitely be taking this further. So glad all calls...
