Beautiful Irish-themed pub let badly down by poor service and bland food.

During my visit to this establishment, despite all the various types of draft beer stations only one type was available.

A simple food order (3 Cheese pizza) for one person took nearly 45 mins to arrive. Trying to order another drink took forever.

Asking for condiments was another struggle. The food was extremely bland and required serious help! A bottle of Tabasco eventually arrived , only to contain a few drops. No effort was made by the waitron to find a fuller bottle nor was any effort made by the waitron or a manager to enquire if everything was in order. They must have already known the answer! R290 for this is a joke. Please show me the crispy chicken wings (al I see is 3 underfed chicken wings) and 10 loose chips. Service also bad - wel poor to put it softly. No pizza available. Drinks take forever to arrive. I mean how long does it take to deliver one bottle of wine to a table? Our second evening staying at the hotel and eating here and hoped service would get better - seeing that it is the RWC semi finals. And then our bill - I have a restaurant and I know how things work. Maybe the owner should get a wake up call! If you are looking to book at a hotel with a good a la cate restaurant the OR Tambo Garden Court is not the hotel you are looking for - and this restaurant is a joke. We will never book at this...

1st night i ordered calamari and rice and that's what I got. A bowl of unseasoned plain rice and grilled calamari no lemon or tartar sauce, very uninviting. I then ordered a pizza which was good. 2nd night , I took my friend to try again. She ordered a pizza on my recommendation and I had pie. Excellent pie and pizza. My friend was not well and ate 2 slices and asked for take away. The take away box came with only half the pizza. The waitress said she packed it herself well she actually helped herself as I said bring back the plate and I will show you that there is more than 2.slices taken. She apologised and asked how she can make it up. We paid and left. Very sad...
