Loved the view and the atmosphere. It's worth a trip to see the outlook.
The cappuccino and red cappuccino we ordered were both luke warm when it got to us after white a bit of a wait for it to arrive, the seating inside was a tad bit uncomfortable imo but it had a nice fireplace. We asked our server for the prices of the food but we weren't answered instead he just brought us 2 croissants 😅 They also has absolutely no cutlery for us to use to eat them with, telling us to "just eat it with your hands". We asked for at least a knife so we could cut it but the server said no, we should have asked before hand so he chef could have cut it. It wasn't as great an experience as we expected from the reviews after being very excited to visit driving from Pta North.
Come the time to ask for the bill it a lot more than we excepted for 2 croissants and 2 drinks almost R200+. I think we likely wouldn't have had the croissants if we know the price point was so high but their menu also has no prices on them and the server couldn't answer us when asked. I would recommend updating the menus to at least have prices and likely working on improving the customer service going forward. It has a lot of potential and the view is amazing but the experience ran flat...

It's not awful, but it is mediocre when it COULD BE amazing. The biggest downfall was the fact that it is a self-service, that there is a sign warning clients that they will receive slow service, that promise is indeed fulfilled! I ordered a slice of apple crumble, a cappuccino, and a coffee frappe, i was order 28. I stood at the serving hatch for a very long time... the coffee arrived, and then other orders up to 31 were issued, including frappe drinks, and mine just did not emerge. It is enough to change your good mood into a really negative vibe. The apple crumble was not as one would expect, i.e., apple and crumble. Traditionally, its served warm with fresh cream. This apple crumble was just taken off the display and slapped into a cardboard takeaway box. A really small slice, not warmed, no cream. They did not have decaffeinated coffee of any sort. The staff just did not seem to be very well trained. I would think twice before...
