Steers — Restaurant in Gauteng

Firstly, I would like to dispute my review made on the Steers Online App on the Driver Charles. We placed an order and received a confirmation that our order was delivered yet we received nothing. We then contacted the store and was informed by Asanda that Charles manipulated the system and will be arriving in the next few minutes with our order. After numerous calls and poor service received telephonically, we had to go to he store because we were told our order now doesn't exist on the system. Upon arrival, the Manager Emmanuel just told us don't worry you will get something as if we were there for freebies, he then looked at my phone took my address and just walked away. Charles approached me and my husband and explained what had initially happened with our order and apologized to us. Charles should rather have your management position than a rivers position as he dealt with the situation more effective and professional. He ensured that we received our order a.s.a.p as the fault was actually the stores as our order was never captured until we arrived. We enjoy Steers and We've eaten from this Steers a few times, two issues, no hygiene from the food preppers, they use their hands for everything, you basically eating what ever was on their hands and nails, even if they cough it's in their hand which then touches all the ingredients (you know those quick side coughs, that type of cough). That was the last time we ate from here, and I threw the burger away incase they were ill which was likely the case as she coughed many times. But I observed this many times on different occasions, no gloves nothing, ever. Please go and order and watch them make your food and see if you're happy with the hygiene. The other thing, the patties were always cold, it could be due to low volumes of sales so the burger patties tend to be cold and when they heat it it's not long enough. Best going to another Steers...

I am very disappointed. We ordered 6 burgers and fries. After this lockdown the finances are scarce and to lift the spirits we decided to go witth a reliable brand and being a family tradition we ordered steers bugers. When we got to Steers the food was ready. And we were so supprized at their prompt service.. The toasted buns were warmer than the patties, the patties were overgrilled and dried out with almost no bbq or mustard sauce. The patties were like rubber and it is obvious they were precooked and have been lying in a bowl all afternoon. If this is what we are offered after a horrible lockdown then we have to shake hands and move on. Steers died at Lockdown and think we are desperate fools to accept this kind of food.
