We went to the restaurant against our better judgment due to unacceptable past experiences. The waiters were friendly as always but unfortunately the food was atrocious as always. My Benedict was tasty but arrived ice cold whilst my friend's toasted sandwich was firstly not toasted and when we complained it was basically charcoal. Highlight though was the incredibly rude and disrespectful manager. When we complained she did not even put her phone down whilst speaking to us. When I said we won't come back she said that we didn't have to. So if that's the way she is I have little hope for this establishment. Shocking to say the least. I hope that she is not the owner so that she could be fired. PS: After talking to her we left without paying -...

They say it is the people who make the place and that is very true here. All the staff are lovely however Oros stands out as a special human being. His genuine cheerfulness and helpfulness always makes my day.

If you enjoyed your meal and had good service please consider a generous tip for the servers here as they are forced to pay for the runners who think they are living an exciting life however it is at someone else's expense. Shocked to learn the owners put that responsibility 100% on their individual staff. Ethical companies have policies to absorb the cost and not charge staff for customers who leave without paying although they can reserve the right, following formal procedures, to restitute from staff in the event of negligence...

Waiters are friendly, but service is terribly slow, 35min wait for a black coffee and 60min wait for a breakfast consisting of one exceptionally dry sausage, two eggs drowning in oil and half toasted bread. When requesting tomato sauce to make the sausage slightly more palatable I waited a further 10min. At this point the “manager” siting and socialising at a table stood up after I requested his attention, I explained my frustration and his response was only a sorry “buddy”. This irked me even more as I am a paying customer and not the...

I came here with my family for brunch. The staffs were friendly and served our drinks and food very quickly. We ordered the bacon and egg wrap, waffle eggs Benedict, and chicken strips. The food was amazing and that got us started with our day. Also everything is reasonably priced. We will definitely be back more frequently for breakfast or brunch.

We had a coffee there yesterday. We decided to have Rooibos, Cappuccino's and an Ice Latte. Unfortunately, the cappuccinos were both cold. We tried the cakes, and the carrot cake was sensational. I'd definitely recommend coming to The Daily.
