Worst worst worst (I said it 3 times) experience ever. We drove from Mpumalanga after my birthday. We had planned to have breakfast in Mpumalanga and dinner in Johannesburg. We were all chasing ribs and opted for one of the restaurants that was on the top 10 best ribs places in Johannesburg on 94.7. Knowing the lock down restrictions we called the restaurant to enquire what time they close. We spoke to Christian who told us they close at 8 but the last order will be at 7. I said cool on our way. 43 minutes later just before 7 we got there. The doors were open and we could see customers rushing out to their cars. We got inside and were told they have decided to close early. I asked to speak to Christian and he told me they had 3 clients and decided to close. I asked him why he did not tell me that when I called and his response was "what do you want me to do?". I said one of the reasons we came here was because we want to review your restaurant but to get this service is disappointing. He told us you can go ahead and review it. We were not even offered a take away option. We could have gone to bed without food but luckily The farm house restaurant in the same compound took our order and served us amazing ribs and chips. I would give zero stars if i could On Saturday 25 May 2024 a couple of us went to watch the FA CUP final. This in my opinion is a huge game and as a Man United Fanatic, what better way to watch a final among fellow supporters and friends, with good food. Unfortunately our experience was the total opposite. The staff refused to play the volume of the game meaning we had to watch such a huge match in silence. We were seated in the far right section on the end close to the road. There was one group of people not there for the game, but the rest of us(the majority) where there to watch the game. The one Gent said that they cannot play the sound because of the live music. We argued that we just wanted some sound to be played from the TV speakers. Again the gent argued that it would be unfair as the people in the room might not want to hear the game. Again the majority of us in the room were actually there for the football! Its so disappointing as there are not many places in the South where we can watch such big football games, and even more disappointing that the narrow mindedness of the staff and management of the place couldn't allow for just 90mins of sound.

P.s one of the waiters on the day is a friend from school, and he told me that for the Rugby games, they have sound!
