Update: After my previous experience 3 days ago, the Wimpy manager contacted me, apologized and offered a free breakfast. I went today and although the manager wasn’t there, the staff were aware of the situation and prepared my order for takeaway. The food was well-made and enjoyable. I appreciate how they handled the follow-up and resolved the issue.

Original experience: I went to Wimpy for breakfast and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When I arrived, I had to grab a menu and seat myself because no one attended to me. A waiter eventually noticed me and said they would come, so I waited after checking the menu for someone to take my order. After placing my order, I received my cappuccino fairly quickly at 11:53 a.m., but then the waiter disappeared. I sat waiting for my food until my cappuccino went completely cold. Another staff member eventually asked about my order, offered to reheat my cappuccino and said they would check on my food but they never returned either.

Despite having ordered earlier, my food only arrived at 12:20 p.m. That’s nearly 30 minutes after my drink for a very simple breakfast: toast, cheese grillers, bacon, a hash brown and an egg. When it finally arrived the bacon was burnt and inedible. To make things worse, when I was done eating what I could, I had to pay at the door because I couldn’t find a waiter to bring me the bill. Overall, the service was extremely poor, the wait was far too long, and the food quality was disappointing. Definitely not the Wimpy...

Today i met up with friends at the wimpy and the service is absolutely disgusting and no servive at all extremely poor no stars for this restaurant at all . The staff ignored us didnt even come to the table to greet us and offer us something to drink we were waiting for over a half an hour . I will definitely not recommend this Wimpy at all . Im so disappointed we actaully got up to leave to go to another place that has good service. Thank you but wont waste our time going...

Most disappointing service I've ever received from a Wimpy store. Arrived at the door, greeted staff standing, thinking they were busy, waited to be acknowledged by the 5 ladies in the front of the store to which not one even acknowledged us. Went and found my own seat where still not one person made an attempt to bring a menu or offer assistance.
