I had originally rated this store higher, but my recent visit has since changed my opinion. We visited the center to buy some things from clicks (across from Yalla), and we bought water. The staff then informed us that we could take a packet of chips because it's on special with the water (we weren't aware of it, so they told us about it!). We saw the Yalla sign once we left the store (the buy 3 get the cheapest free) and decided to get food from there. We were ordering the food and asked the cashier to confirm if it's a buy 3 get another (4th) free, and she said no. So we ordered 3 and paid. We had paid for all 3 laffas and were confused. We went to double-check the sign and went back to the cashier to ask why we paid for all 3 when there's a special. She then responded to us with, "Did you ask for the special? You're meant to ask for the special" With a lot of attitude, I must add. Why do we need to ask for a special when it's a given it's only a Saturday and Sunday thing? Why have the sign outside? They wouldn't give us the special afterward because of the excuse that they can't authorize it. Anyway the food was okay and the men who helped us fill our laffas were very friendly. However some of the staff handling the food don't...

I cannot praise Yalla! enough. I overlooked it when it first opened as Fairland walk has always had lackluster shops and restaurants. On one day I decided why not? if its bad I wont go back, so whats the harm? Well.. The harm is you'll keep going back!

Since going plant based, new and exciting restaurants are quite hard to find and I was delighted to see they had falafel as a plant based option. My partner and I decided to go with the Falafel Laffa's, fries and a smoothie each. And wow! everything was delicious! I have been back at least 5 times since.

On another note: The decor is amazing. The quirk of watching the Laffa breads being made, open in-view style kitchen as well as customize-able meals is what adds to the whole experience of the restaurant. And the employees are friendly and lively.

I...

Impressed with this place. I really enjoyed their food. Not fatty, its actually healthy. I hate to do this but the Anats that i am used to tend to put alot more fatty bits into the schwarma. This place got rid of that and its seamless and fatless. The Tzatziki is a hit, i have not ever tasted better Hummus, Tahini. I have not tried their baklava, or sweets, but i would like to try the Nutella wrap. The Flat Bread is made fresh infront of you and its amazing to watch how well the workers know their craft. Staff were helpful The smoothies are good too, if you dont want the extra whey, just tell them go exclude. I prefer it without the whey. You dont have to wait for a very long time but it is better to order in...

Scrumptious, authentic middle-eastern food. Lots of options, including vegetarian. Their flatbread is made fresh on site over a hot dome, which is pretty cool to watch. Their boxes are good to share, with dolmades, various salads, sliced meats, all of which you can choose, so you can make your own combinations. The decor is also really fun and bright, with yellow walls, lots of greenery and some pale wood. There are options to sit inside, but sitting outside and people-watching as everyone goes through the pedestrian mall is the ideal way to eat lunch here. Way better than the likes of "Anat" restaurants - go have eat here, you won't regret it.

R120 and this is what you get. Not worth it. Wilted lettuce sitting in water, 2 ingredients out of stock. Rubbery pickles. Tasteless slaw. Very salty lamb. We asked to add chilli but added to it. Could not taste lamb at all. Thin like a vienna. Overall wrap is thin thin thin and a let down. Will not go bacl. Ps: watch your kids on windy days. Door blown open by storm wind and nearly hit us. Would harm a child with the aluminum door at full force. Mentioning because they left it like that, swinging open a few times even after seeing it missed us by a cm
