This padstal has an array of things to buy. The inside restaurant we experienced as depressing and decided to sit outside. Clearly, not many people do. It was dusty and tables dirty. Another downfall is that they sell liquor. You are just not allowed to drink it on premises. The roosterkoeke was horrible and not recommended. Soggy and they use margarien instead of wholesome butter. Way too much cheese was put on the savory mince roosterkoek. More cheese than mince. This farmstall did not impress us at all

It was an very good experience. It's very nice to see all the different hand made things. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. If you ever travel from George over the Outeniqua mountain make sure you stop at Kruisaar farm stall. We didn't order any food but the coffee was excellent. The home made jam is a definite must to buy. It is the best marmalade I've ever tasted.

Perfect stop for lunch when hungry on route to Oudtshoorn or George (close to Outeniqua pass). Had roosterkoek with spicy mince, just perfect to continue ones road trip to the Swartberg

Owner needs a serious wake up call. She has a personality like a wet nappy and is completely uninterested in trying to create a pleasant experience for the customers. At the very least Crack a smile. Everything i saw is way overpriced, the owner got our order incorrect and then claimed I had not ordered it. The food took long, the staff dont seem to be trained properly at all. there is no visible signs or explanation as to how to order or where food should be collected, and asking the owner any questions at all makes you feel very unwelcome. They also burnt my sons toasted sandwich and put it upside down in the box so we would not see. When asking for assistance with the coffee machine or how it works, it was like we were asking her to climb Mount Everest, let alone get up off her chair and try and help a paying customer. No wonder everyone, including ourselves go to the pizza farm stall down the road instead of here. Unfortunately for us (fortunately for them) the pizza place is closed on Mondays and we did not have time to go elsewhere or get a refund so my son had to eat a burnt toasted sandwich and my inlaws had to share their food.. Its a sad and...

Hulle het die lekkerte roosterbroodjies en die diens is uit 'n ander wêreld! Excellent fast service, we've waiting not longer than 15minutes for our coffee and food to be served, Services are excellent, then there's the pure mohair products for sale, best quality you can get, a big variety of other products like jams, spices, wines, fruit to much to be named, it's a must visit spot, you wouldn't be...
