Very popular spot situated on the main road between Oudthoorn and George. They aren't exaggerating when talking about their pizzas, it truly is the best I've had. The toppings are more than generous and very tasty. As there is also a small farm stall next door, you can buy a bottle of wine to enjoy with the pizza. I highly recommend the Jackalsvlei coffee Pinotage. Otherwise, they don't mind if you bring your own wine from home. For desert, try their home-made apple crumble. At the stall, you can also buy some fresh produce, mainly fruit, and then they have a large selection of sweets. The parking is ample, though it is gravel so keep in mind if you use a wheelchair. On that topic, there are some steps but nothing major. You can also go theiugh the side entrance that has only a small gravel inlcine, but no stairs. There is a play area for kids, so definitely family friendly. The views over the mountains, valley and hops make this a relaxing Sunday...

It's TRUE what's said about the Road side Deli Stall. The best pizza you will find. And yes the pizzas are most delicious. Freshly prepared and great value for money. The out in the country atmosphere and rustic decor gives a great feeling of being relaxed and in the country breathing the fresh air and enjoying the sounds of nature. There is nothing fancy about this place, yet it is very popular and always busy. They have a wonderful selection of local wines and fresh produce. And very well priced. For travelers coming in from Oudshoorn this is a wonderful stop and stretch your legs spot before coming into the town of George. A real Lekker...

Their carrot cake is among the best I've ever had, and their pizzas were pretty good too!

I had a slice of the Valley Classic pizza and really enjoyed the texture. You could really taste the wood used in the pizza oven, which is a good thing.

The carrot cake is worth taking, even if you're on a diet, you can't miss out on it. It's not too sweet but just the right level of moist, I would consider going there in the future, just for a slice of that delicious world class carrot cake.

Would definitely recommend for a day out of the house with the great atmosphere, kind staff, and...

The Pizza has always been one of the best we've ever had. Crisp base, generous fresh toppings without being greasy. Prices that wont break the bank and a breathtaking view! A place we always take visiting family or friends. Has a play area for younger children, order and pay at the counter and the wait is minimal, even when they're really busy during holidays, the wait is not as long as you'd expect. There is a little stall next door where you can buy all sorts of dried fruit, preserves, wine and sweet treats.

Pros: - Charming outside seating area. - Shop is next door with wine selection. - Cards accepted. Considerations: - Covered parking limited and might be an issue for low clearance vehicles. - Limited indoor seating. Personal Experience: - The pizza and sub were second to none. - Ingredients were fresh and the base was cooked to perfection. - No real wait for our food even though it was a bit busy. ⭐️ A perfect stop on the way to or from George or Oudtshoorn to get some food or a snack.
