Went there today for a quick drink and cheese fries before i went for a movie, waited for the waiter to get our order and he decided to send someone else after a few minutes. I wanted the cheese fries which is absolutely disgusting, fries is raw and barely cheese on and taste like nothing, no salt NOTHING! Which i had to pay R50 for !!!!!!! This was my first visit there and would not recommend the place to anyone. I have pictures aswell as i decided to not eat it because it is so bad.

I've walked past this restaurant for close to twenty years, always seeing the place full with pensioners. Thought I'd give it a try. Very disappointing to say the least. The food took a solid thirty minutes to arrive after placing the order. After the first bite of the chicken schnitzel, it was very evident that it had been microwave heated, piping hot and very dry. The only saving grace was the mushroom sauce which was made from scratch and not your packet variety. Waiter wasn't very helpful, in fact we tried to call a few waiters, but they just zipped past our table completely ignoring our hailing attempts. Every single time I visit this place the service is shocking! And why one ask; why I then come back!? -It is just because the coffee and food is great and has a smoking section. Further to that, the waiteresses is arrogant, abrupt and condiscending. Should they get upset about a customer asking for an additional jug of hot water or anything other than standard they will not deal with you anymore and send someone else. Even get laughed @ when I order a black americano with cold milk (not all coffee shops works on the same system when it comes to ordering coffee)
