Dear Hungry Lion Customer Service,
I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent experiences at several of your Cape Town locations, hoping it will be helpful for your ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Firstly, I must express my disappointment with the chicken I received during two separate visits to your Cape Gate and Zevenwacht Mall locations. On both occasions, the chicken was noticeably burnt and excessively crunchy, which unfortunately detracted significantly from the dining experience.
However, I would also like to extend a sincere commendation to the team at your N1 City Hungry Lion location. Their consistency in preparing the chicken is truly exceptional. Every time I visit, the chicken is consistently tasty, tender, and juicy. I genuinely believe they are doing an outstanding job, and I consistently find the quality of the chicken at the N1 City branch to be the best in Cape Town.

Read moreThe service is PATHETIC! Staff is always in a bad mood! My Son always wants ice cream. We always end up waiting extremely long for a ice cream. The cashier has to serve customers and make the ice cream which is really stupid. Saturday, we went to checkers when my son heard we want to get him a ice cream at hungry lion he cried and said they slow his going to wait long. A 4 year old saying your service is slow because he knows the drill. The staff literally has an argument infront of us because no one wants to make the ice cream. Then Hungry Lion should take Ice cream off there menu!!!! I've uploaded the Ice cream the women made on Saturday. 2 start is too much they deserve no stars. Never going back to hungry lion and wouldn't recommend anyone does unless you want to wait 20 to 30 minutes for a ice cream and experience a whole argument...
Read moreI ordered food from the N1 City branch via UberEats. Order was placed at 14:55. I only received my food around 16:30. Even the UberEats driver messaged to ask me to call the shop so that they could hurry up with my order as he has been waiting a very long time for it.
I understand that the shop may have been busy, but you can't keep drivers waiting for orders just so that you can service the people in the shop. Those drivers are also there to service your clients at home/work.
Very annoyed at the atrocious service and even more annoyed that no one picked up the landline when I called more than 5 times.
