I am writing this review to express my total disappointment and frustration with the abysmal service I experienced during my recent online order from KFC Turfhall. On 24/11/2023 at 20:55, I placed an order with the website indicating an expected delivery time of 21:20.
However, by 21:20, no delivery had been made, prompting me to call the Turfhall branch at 21:47, after waiting an excruciating 50 minutes for my order. It is important to note that I reside less than 1 km away from the branch.
Upon contacting KFC Turfhall, I was informed that the driver had already left with my order, and the staff assured me they would contact the delivery company to track down my delivery. Shockingly, when I inquired about my food potentially being cold upon arrival, the staff member callously stated that it was not KFC's concern and suggested I take up the matter with the driver upon his eventual arrival.
Despite the staff's promise to update me shortly on my order's whereabouts, I received no callback after waiting for 15 minutes. Subsequent attempts to get information by calling back were met with vague responses. Eventually, KFC Turfhall informed me that the driver was en-route and instructed me to wait outside. To my disbelief, a few minutes later, I received an SMS from KFC Turfhall stating that my order had been canceled.
I had waited outside intermittently for nearly an hour, from 21:20 to 22:08, only to have my order canceled without any explanation or apology. This situation is not only inconvenient but also completely unacceptable. I am now left without options as other food places are closed.
I strongly believe that as a customer who made the order with KFC Turfhall, it is your responsibility to ensure the timely and successful delivery of my order. Whether delivery is handled in-house or outsourced, the customer should not bear the burden of tracking down deliveries or dealing with cold food issues caused by delays.
This experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with KFC Turfhall's service, and I urge you to address this matter promptly and take corrective actions to prevent such incidents in the future. Customers deserve better than the utter lack of accountability and professionalism I encountered during this ordeal.

It took me at least ten minutes to try and pay for my order. Before I paid I requested extra colonel sauce for the burgers because it cost money. The young woman who took my money just nodded with her head and I paid for my order.
I should mention here that as we walked into the restaurant we noticed a packed order on top of the warmer. Some twenty minutes or so after enquiring about the order one of the staff pointed to the order on top of the warmer. I refused the food because it would have been ice cold.
Through some intervention from a more senior person our food was re-packed, but no colonel sauce on the burgers . After that was rectified we left with our order.
The food, surprisingly was very well prepared, but I will certainly not go back to that specific KFC when the craving arrives. A young mother paid for her order, went back into their car to breastfeed her suckling child, and by the time she came back into the restaurant her food was still not ready.
What really irritated me was the fact that people seemingly known to staff in the restaurant could walk in, place an order at the counter and walk out while we had to patiently wait for our turn.

I complained to KFC head office and the manageress Malieka got back to me on the 12 march 2024 and said they will make it up by offering me a family meal. On the 24 march I popped in there again to collect on their promise and they wanted to compensate me with a Burger after driving pass two other KFC to get there. Totally livid with their false promise and wasting my time and money again. I told the manager on duty to tell Malieka. The manageress, to enjoy the burger in her spare time because this would be the last I ever step foot in this Turfall KFC store.
