Panarottis Brits Mall — Restaurant in Madibeng Local Municipality

I ordered a Duo pizza and was serviced by a lady named Thembi. After completing the order, she assured me that the pizza will be ready in 15-20 minutes. I went to Woolies for shopping which took me approximately 35 minutes. Went to another shop which took another 5 min including the walk back to Panarottis.

Upon my arrival, Thembi went to the back to get my pizza which took another 5 minutes. She came back with no pizza and told me that it is still being prepared, by this time I was getting irritated and asked her why she said 15 minutes whereas it’s now 40min later. She then assured me that it will be ready in another 5 minutes which turned into another 10 minutes.

I asked to speak to a manager while Thembi was at the back probably preparing the pizza herself now. A guy named Vusi (manager)was called who nonchalant to my frustrations told me that it’s his first day and the other manager is on the phone.

I asked for the manager (Richard) who had been on the phone for more than 10min up until I decided to leave without speaking to anyone senior.

Poor service and this is my second 1 star pertaining...

My husband, son and I had lunch at Panarottis on Saturday the 11th of January, service was a bit slow but it was to be expected as it was quite busy. We ordered our food and once it arrived started to dig in as it looked absolutely delicious. My son had the kiddies margherita pizza combo, my husband the chicken schnitzel and I tried the avo del mare. I started eating and then felt my face is burning up and itchy...after inspection I noticed there is pineapple in the seafood cocktail (disguised under seafood sauce) which I am highly allergic to - yet nowhere on the menu does it say pineapple in the dish. I spoke to one of the waitresses who in return called the manager on the floor. He was very kind and apologized immediately, I did not get his name, as I needed medical attention but he removed all our food from our bill and has since phoned to find out how I am and if he could cover my medical costs - they have gone above and...
