The Beach Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Madibeng Local Municipality

The Beach Bar and Grill. I had the most unpleasant disgusting customer experience ever. Due to one of the cushions for back support. I've been at the venue for almost 3 hours and new customers just arrived ... Very loud and insensitive towards other customers. They requested, the only cushion myself and friends were already using. I was shocked @ first that the waitress would want to inconvenience myself and peers. To my surprise, The Manager of the venue visits my table and respectfully ask's me to hand the cushion to the customers who just arrived.. bear in mind iv been there for hours as it stands. I questioned the Manager are you really asking me to give the cushion to the new guests? So what about myself and friends that's been using it for back support, as there aren't any of the cushions left.

The Managers says, i will serve you more food and drinks on the house. I declined and requested my BILL. I was asked not to leave but in my shocking disbelief of how i was treated, it was best i do the honorable thing.

We facing tough times, GLOBALLY! For a business to treat its customer that way, is inhumane. My 1st and last visit . I will continue to spread this experience and hope something can be done, or the culture can...

Excellent place.

I chose the place for my 48th birthday. Love the atmosphere and the closeness to the water. The staff was friendly and i was pleasantly surprised how fast my food came, although i only ordered fries as they have no vegan options.

The price was fair and the portion good. The music was just the right volume to be in the background. I hate it when places have the music so loud you cannot think. Because the place is near the water and trees there are a few bees around. 1 killed himself in my drink and 2 i chased away. Not much the owner can do as bees do fly far, so if you are allergic bring an epi pen with.

The only problem i have with the place which is not serious is that the toilets for the men only had a washbasin in the last unit (that i could later find). If that is occupied then you stand around not being able to wash your hands. I ended up washing my hands at a garden tap a distance away. Maybe a washbasin in the toilets or one outside will be nice.

There is a playground for kids and tables for them where parents can keep an eye over them. There is also a fence around the play area so that kids cannot easily wonder off.

All in all a very nice place for a family meal. I will definitely...

To start with the live music was amazing, a singer with a golden voice......then the service was exceptionally poor. Asked the waiter from the time we got there for an ashtray of which we didn't....we spent approx 5 hours there......take note we never received an ashtray then the waiter disappears and we have to go looking for him to order......a friend of mine ordered a double burger which was so so dry and received cold pizza.......the #best# of all is when paying the bill does he not have the audacity to say where is my tip ......so from a bill of quite a substantial amount we did not tip him exactly 10 percent R20 less that would have been 10 percent....he turns around and says do you know you should give me a full 10 percent tip....the wsiter never ever even came to find out if all is ok or would we like more drinks....when exiting there is a sign that says no alcohol leaves the premises and believe it or not a man walks past the manager with a bottle of wine......all I would like to say is your place needs a good jack...
