Public Library — Restaurant in Metsimaholo Local Municipality

Poor very poor and not what was expected. On Saturday 15th February 2020 a table was booked for a work lunch. Suggested by me to go there because previously i had the best of the best all over experience. On arival drink order was placed waited an hour then we received the bad news that not all cocktails was available because of the blender being out of order. Sure having the experience as a food and bev manager it is weekend and the day after Valentines day so order the cocktails that is available. After how long they cant make any cocktails now we order other things waiting so long that we have to go to the bar to check up. Then we placed the kids food and some of the people ordered as they were very hungry an hour and a half goes by the one ladies steak comes tough as a a rubber band then we are still waiting for the kids food and the rest of the order. All food arives so far apart but it came. Now its 16h00 we have been struggling since 13h00 we are 2 people still waiting for food asking about my food that is a seafood pasta and i am still waiting.Calling the owner he apologized and said he is on his way he never arives ending up calling the manager on shift to hear how he puts the blame on the poor waiter. One waiter one manager and one runner on shift and explanation is short staffed. As a manager you interact with your customers you warn them but still give good service you as a manager take control even by going into that kitchen to assist with the food taking care of one poor waiter that is serving all your customers alone but no instead the big boss never shows and the manager takes no blame turning his back and walks away after you tell him what you think. Until today waiting for a response and my food that never came because the order was never found in the kitchen even being short staffed the point stays you as a manager take the blame you sort it out never humiliating your one staff member, one that is actually the only one doing everything he can infront of customer's and you blame him woooow redwoods what a day and experience we had. The waiter was amazing he is very strong he took it all like a boss that is managers...

Racist owner does not deserve his customers.

I have supported this restaurant every day this week, as we have been busy at the theatre next door, we really enjoy the sushi and the awesome vibe.

Unfortunately last night was a very big disappointment.

We went there for dinner. We sat at the table infront of the guy singing. Towards the end of the night he decided it would be a good time to sing "Die Stem"

We were a mixed race table and it made us feel very uncomfortable. Once he had finished singing I asked him to sing Nkosi Sikelel iAfrika. He responded laughing saying he doesn't know it and sang a few words with a few joke words inbetween.

The owner of the restaurant was sitting at another table and decided to cheer this on and laughed at the racist jokes that followed. Including, "I wonder what their reaction will be if I start singing De La Rey.

There is no place in this world for racism and nastiness of this nature. Our bill came up to R1600 and we paid...

Worst service I ever had we have waited over two hours for the pizza for the children and when it came the had mushroom on the pizza and it hadn't been said on menu that there was mushrooms on pizza so we have send the pizza back and after half an hour later they brought back the pizza and this time it was fully burned under and it still had mushrooms on that was when we decided to get KFC for the kids I would recommend going...
