Fishmonger Dos Amigos — Restaurant in Polokwane Local Municipality

My son and I were in Polokwane for a SAMAR racing event at Polokwane race track and stumbled upon the Fishmonger Dos Amigos. We were greeted by a happy gentleman at the door who then asked us to select a table for ourselves. Once seated we were handed over to our waiter for the evening, a young gentleman by the name of Cheune. The atmosphere was warm and cosseting. The environment was extremely clean and neat. Food was ordered after a recommendation or two…with plenty of extra attention in the form of olives, bread and halloumi cheese. Drinks arrived followed by the wrong order! Not a problem as we smashed through the food! It was delicious…and freshly prepared. Our waiter sorted bill out appropriately and promised next time he would bring the correct dish. Even though order was incorrect the food presented was extremely good and worth the slight change...

I have never ...I repeat.. never had fish that tasted that good anywhere else . I loved it there, whatever you guys do please keep your chef . I love the fine dining experience they give you . The waiters and waitresses are so on point , friendly but not too much on your face . Believe me we see the small details that you guys put in ...from being greeted at the door , to being led to our sits, to being assisted with our bips(very clean) and the little throw blanket by our chairs since it was so chilly. I loved it....enjoyed my food ..kudos to the team .. the only thing I'd change is the awful toilet paper you guys have (the grey, hard paper ) it doesn't fit in honestly.. have mercy on our bums !!! Either than that...

Wow... what a delightful experience. The white table linen, the little complementary appetizers, the cutlery brought to your table in lemon water, the material bib offered, the sanitary hand towelettes.. they thought of everything... and then the food!! Presented beautifully and tasted exceptionally... surely visit again on another trip. My waiter was fantastic too.

I had...
