Stellenbosch Brewing Company & Taproom — Restaurant in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

My wife and I decided to do a beer tasting of 6 beers (via the Entertainer app) just to get an idea of what their beers are like. Their beers include a  Weiss, Lager, Dark Lager, Porter, Lager-Cider hybrid and IPA, with the last 3 being produced by other breweries, but "show-cased" by Stellenbosch Brewing Co. After the beer tasting I opted for a Pale Ale (which was not part of the beer tasting) and my wife for the Hoenderhokblok which we rated was the best out of their selection. What is really nice about the brewery is the big lawn area with trees spread around where you can relax and enjoy some beers. The kids can also run around and play and there is also a playground for them to entertain themselves, so this is a good option for parents to bring their kids along. Their beers didn't wow me which is why I didn't give them a better rating but that's just my taste and I do think this is a good place to visit if you haven't been...

Yesterday was hot so we were looking for a place to cool down. Along the R304, what a nice venue? We tasted some beers and then chilled for the afternoon. The place is even dog friendly. Two dogs came to visit. Woof woof. The bar lady Chelsea was great with conversation and made us feel at home.

On Sunday 6 March. Joined the garden for a nice lunch. Saw that they were well busy so that means the food is great and people keep coming back for more. I deal with Stellies as one of our suppliers and they are legitimately my favourite, because they are so easy to work with. I have never had any problem with either service or product but, even if i did, the team is made up of people I actually enjoy dealing with and the company always seems to have their stuff together so, touch wood, I expect that the experience would still be pretty fantastic.
