I give the following establishment zero stars on everything. Sad I have to select one. It is sad to have to provide a poor review. I was just there and waited for over hour verging on hour and a half. I saw many upset patrons before and after me. Waiting long periods of time. They were promised food and orders in under 30 minutes with their orders taking hour to longer. I saw one lady leave and say why did you not tell me when I got in. She had purchased a great deal of other snacks. I saw another customer so upset since he had to push his way to the front of the efood drivers who blocked him and he still received attitude. I heard many other patrons complain of the hour plus wait. My order about 60 places behind, already saw other people get food before me. What is sad to note is when I tried to enquire the front staff make it seem like they are checking and your order is coming. Then they proceeded to avoid me and act like they were busy and engaged at times. It is only when I raised my concern that they then look again to provide service. I could not wait any longer and sadly asked for juices in place of my order/void to same value and left. These comments I see are consistent with the experiences of other customers on Google reviews and Hellopeter to some extents. It is sad I believed this place would provide so much more. I managed to finish an entire meal at another restaurant on street in same time who had loadshedding and busy eat in and out order roster. Front line staff here appear to mislead patrons as to how long an order will take and then the kitchen seems overburdened and reached maximum capacity long ago. My order was simple 3 jumbo vienna and chips parcels. A total of R515 spent at this establishment.
1.5 hours later with a shop full of angry waiting customers some who ordered have been waiting since 4pm as walk ins and others that ordered telephonically at 2pm. A very hungry family at home that now has to wait longer to break their fast as there was the no meal prepared at home.
When customers questioned Natasha (the manager) she was rude, stand offish and ignored me and many others trying to speak to her. Her response was that she just works there and is not the owner, refused to give me an email address and told me to go check outside on the wall for it.. said she can’t help the long wait.. when people who ordered past 6 was walking out with their meals before people who was waiting since 4, make it make sense?
The people waiting there during iftaar tried to buy something to break their fast with, guess what sold out on savouries - for such an established takeaway, offer the people a date or a glass of water waiting.. do you realize how much more baraka your shop will then have???

Read moreI phoned ordered yesterday at about 18:02 so that it can be in time for iftaar and also that it will still be warm. The lady informed me it will be warm. I got to cosy corner, and there is a line. One line. Which I completely feel it defeats the entire purpose of phone orders. I observed how the cashier assisted the customers, and I must say his attitude is just so terrible. Customers just asked him phone orders, all he says is it doesn't matter. All he can say is sir or mam, there's one line for all orders. I waited and observed how he interacted with the customers, one customer asked him if he can get a falooda, he looked at the customer, and just walked away from the till. I informed him what I have ordered, and said chicken chagrilled Gatsby, he continues then to belittle me to make me feel as if i don't know what I am talking about and says so a chicken Gatsby. I then reiterated a chagrilled chicken Gatsby he then tells me it's only steak that's chagrilled but the menu clearly states chargrilled and I have in the past ordered this. I eventually paid, and still waited for my food given that it's more than 45mins ..and yes, the food stands and get cold. I got a Gatsby which was cold.
