Perched at the base of Gu Bong Mountain in Western Busan, Choryang 845 is one of several buildings that make up the historically poignant Choryang museum and restaurant complex. Some of the buildings date back to the 1930s and 1940s when the country was under colonial Japanese control. You can see this clearly at the dessert and iced latte bar at the top, called Choryang 1941.
The cafe itself has an industrial vibe too it with container doors, high roofs and floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views of downtown Busan.

I do not know what kind of stupid instagram photogenic place these staffs have been pursuing, however, they make it super clear that they do not want to serve the elderly. Were they loud? No. The awkward attitude the staffs had the entire time right after they saw us walking in made my elderly parents stay quiet as if they did something wrong. They are more welcoming the dogs than the elderly, for sure. Never seen any attitude like this ever in my life. Read moreThis place is located in a secluded at the top of hill. The views over the city and sea are quite pretty, but there are much better places in Busan. After ordering, you have to wait a LONG LONG time for the food to come out. The staff is not friendly and this place is inconvenient to get there by bus.
