과천해신탕은 10여가지 한약재와 닭뼈, 가장 고급 품종인 밀리타리스 동충하초를 넣어 육수를 우려낸다고 한다. 그래서 그런지 국물이 진국이다. 오골계는 일반 닭보다 훨씬 담백하고 맛이 좋았다. 소위 퍽퍽살 부위도 식감이 우수한 편이었다. 살아있는 피문어를 보는 앞에서 통째로 넣어주며 전복, 가리비와 키조개, 새우까지 재료를 아낌없이 넣어 푸짐하게 내어준다 오골계해신탕은 맛이 담백하고 깔끔해 재료 본연의 맛을 느낄 수 있고 건강해지는 느낌이었다.

개인적으로 보양식을 즐기지 않아 직장 회식으로 두어 차례 방문했다. 해신탕과 동충하초가 들어간 삼계탕을 먹어 봤는데 나름 괜찮았다. 듣자하니 별양동에서 나름 이름이 있는 집인 듯하다. 고기 육질이 나쁘지 않고, 국물도 가볍거나 너무 무겁지 않아 부담스럽지 않았다. 인근 직장인이나 주민들이 몸이...
