강마을다람쥐 팔당본점 — Restaurant in Gwangju-si

A family favorite for the past 12+ years; we've been coming 2-4 times a year for several years and service and quality of food has seen ups and downs. The restaurant has a fun theme (acorn!), is aptly named accordingly, and the food is all solid. I've tried them all. There is a range of cold and hot menu items, of main dishes (요리) and individual dishes (식사). The jeonbyeong is solid and the sooyook is a personal favorite, and I often go for the mookbap as my dish. Outside, there is a old but quaint well-maintained garden of lights, decorations, and a little fire pit where one can enjoy the cold crisp outside air. We've brought marshmallows here before, and it can be fun to share and toast with strangers. The view of the lake is pretty nice, too. Wonderful restaurant outside of Seoul. Approx 40 mins from Jamsil area. Every dish was amazing with high quality ingredients. Highly recommend to try the Seafood pancake.
