I came here after one of my expat friends recommended it to me, and I have to say, it was really impressive.
I didn’t manage to get a lot of photos of the meat because my friend and I ate them all so quickly, but I did manage to take photos of the other dishes!
We got a bibimbap with small octopus, hand-made noodles in chilled broth and hand-made noodles with spicy sauce.
The two handmade noodles had the same kind of texture: thin noodles that weren’t soggy nor too hard. The sauce/broth is definitely what sets the two apart, I think. The chilled broth is not cold at all, and it was really great to have this season what with the heat and all. It had radishes, cucumber, half an egg and slices of beef.
The spicy sauce noodles didn’t have any soup/broth, but also had crunchy cucumber, radish, half an egg and beef. The sauce definitely was a bit spicy, but not overwhelming at all. It almost seemed a little sweet, too.
Out if the three, the bibimbap was my favorite. I really liked the overall balance of all the ingredients. It had a whole lot of veggies and, of course, small octopus. The sauce is gochujang and something extra—couldn’t make out what the extra was, so I’m guessing it’s one of their house recipes. It’s not too spicy either (did make me sweat a little, but I think it’ll depend on the person), and if you want it spicier, you might be able to ask for more?
All in all, I will definitely be returning here again...
Read moreThe restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m. The signature dish of this restaurant is pork ribs.👏😍👏 There are many flavors, and I usually eat original pork. In addition to pork, there are the pride of Korea, Galbitang, Naengmyeon, Bibimbap, etc…. Also, I recommend you to go a little later than when people eat dinner because there are many people in the evening.👍 If you want to eat delicious Korean traditional food, come to this...
Read moreI’m typically a super picky eater but decided to try as much Korean food as possible during my visit. My girlfriend is a local and brought me to this place because she recommended it. Now let me tell you, the food here was awesome! I didn’t go a moment without shoving food into my mouth. Personally, I really enjoyed the Pork Ribs with Garlic sauce. Even the octopus bibimbap was delicious and I avoid vegetables...
