아프리카앤소울 — Restaurant in Gwangju

It was our first time visiting Gwangju and while looking for a place to eat we stumbled across Africa and Soul. This restaurant is truly amazing and fun. I loved how it had a little bit of everything from nearly each country from the continent. The ambiance, the music, the vibe...it felt like we were transported back home. The owner was really kind and welcoming. We even got a free Coca Cola and hot tea/coffee (it was strong and it was delicious). The food was also great. We both had the tonkatsu option and I swear it was bigger than our faces (for 13 000 Won a plate - really affordable) and it was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone especially anyone from Africa - it's just homey. Plus for any Instagrammers out there it is the perfect place to take...
