Authentic Korean Dining Experience at Gyeongchunjae (경춘재) near Bulguksa Temple
During our trip to Gyeongju, we visited the Bulguksa Temple Complex. After exploring the beautiful historic site, our tour group went for lunch, but we decided to separate from the main group to try authentic seafood dishes.
We found a restaurant called Gyeongchunjae (경춘재), located near Bulguksa Temple, and decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere and level of service. The staff was very welcoming, explained everything in English, and helped us choose our dishes.
One of the highlights was the traditional Korean seating, where we sat on soft cushions on the floor at low tables, making the experience even more special.
We were also amazed by the number of side dishes and salads that accompanied our meal. For our main dishes, we ordered bibimbap and grilled mackerel, both of which were absolutely delicious, fresh, and of excellent quality.
Everything about this restaurant impressed us – the ambiance, the food, and the attentive service. This was one of the best meals we had during our 10-day trip across South Korea, which included Seoul, Jeju, and Busan.

Not only that, the side dishes are also tasty that i want to take some home with me. If you're seeking an authentic and unforgettable korean bibimbap experience, this restaurant is the one. My favorite is korean chives(buchu)bibimbap with red pepper paste...

The side dishes were very delicious as well. Our Korean guide brought us here and thanks to him we had one of our...
