청풍 수산 — Restaurant in Hupo-myeon

I visited this crab place with my family on July 31, 2025, around two in the afternoon. As you might already know, Hupo Port is famous for its many crab restaurants, and choosing one can feel like a small adventure in itself.

That day, we paid KRW 140,000 for two large snow crabs. There were three of us, and it wasn’t quite enough, so we added a bowl of cold raw fish soup to round out the meal. Considering it was peak summer vacation season, I thought the price was fair.

Crab prices often change, depending on demand and supply, so if you’re planning a visit, I’d suggest checking a few places before you decide.

The crabs took about 25 minutes to steam. When they arrived, the shells were full and the meat was sweet and tender. It felt fresh and satisfying.

One special part of the meal was the crab-shell rice. They fill the crab shell with warm rice, seaweed, and crab intestines, mixing it all together into something that, if you grew up in Korea, feels like comfort food. It’s rich, salty, and deeply familiar.

The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms, which were better maintained than I expected. There’s a small parking lot that fits about four or five cars, and they accept credit cards.

I’d consider coming back here again, maybe on another family...

싱싱한 대게, 홍게와 방어 맛나게 잘먹었습니다.

사장님도 친절하시고 같이 일하는 분들이 가족 같아 보였는데, 모두 친절히 잘 해 주셨습니다.

게는 같은 동네 지인들이 바다에서잡아오는 싱싱한걸 사용하고 택배로 판매도 하신답니다.

가게 앞이 바다이고, 아침 일출도 볼수 있네요, 가까이 울릉도 가는 후포항과, 바다위로 걷는듯한 스카이 워크도 있습니다.

가시걸랑 저녁타임 꼭 추천 드립니다.

메뉴보니 대게?홍게라면도 있던데ᆢ담에가면...

거의 온리 전복죽 단일메뉴입니다. 모듬회도 메뉴에 있는데 주문하는 테이블이 없음ㅎㅎ 물회를 주문하려는 손님들이 가끔 보이는데 안됨.. 전복죽을 주문하면 약 한 30분 정도 기다림이 필요함... 주문하면 죽을 끓이기 시작하는듯함... 지겨움ㅠ.ㅠ 그래도 기다릴 만 함.. 바깥을 보고 있으면 괜찮음... 전복죽이 나옴... 맛있다.., 전복죽만을 먹어러 여기까지 오기는 좀 그렇지만 이 곳을 오거나 지나는...
