도원춘 — Restaurant in Jeju

I had the worst service from the waitstaff here. One waitstaff actually rolled her eyes when we asked for more water. This surly attitude continued throughout our meal and it wasn’t pleasant. Other waitstaff weren’t much better. Seriously, we received better service from the automated trolley delivering food to the table. Food was only so~so and the only redeeming grace were the fried chicken dish piled high with slivered onion and 쟁반짜장. The dishes are all served family style and everything we tried was tasty. We enjoyed pan fried dumplings, fried rice and the sweet and sour pork the most. The beef and vegetables was pretty good, but I think it would be better with chicken instead of beef. We'll be back to try other...

제주도 중식하면 한림을 얘기한다! 자세한 내막은 모르지만 화교분들이 중식당을 운영하셔서 그나마 오리지날 중식에 가까운 맛을 낸다 들은바 있다. 한림항이 있어서 부두를 중심으로 화교분들이 어떠한 집성촌을 만들었는지까지는 잘 모르나~ 암튼 그러한 이유로 한림지역 중식당은 실패확률이 그만큼 적다~

자녀들 실컷놀게 하고 오가는길에 도원춘에 들림! 노토모습에서 벗어나서 깔끔하게 리모델링하고 모던한 분위기속에 한층더 바빠진 느낌적인 느낌!!

점심시간 살짝 무렵에 갔는데 웨이팅이 장난이 아니다ㅜㅜ 촌동네 중식당을 가디려보긴 처음이다!ㅜㅜ

카랴멜로 앞도뒤도 마지막도 단맛을 내는 여타 중식당과는 달리 담백깔끔한게 내 스타일이다!! 특히 짜장면이 너무 좋다!!^^ 애들도 엄지를 연발한다!!ㅋ
