cannot recommend this cafe enough 🥹 stumbled upon holz aewol on our way to southern jeju, and it was the cosiest place with amazing pastries and coffee. the staff were extremely friendly and it was the best way for us to start our day in jeju :)

제주도 애월 유수암에 위치한 베이커리. 중산간인데 굽이굽이 올라가다 보면 빌라 단지 옆에 위치함. 원래 부모님이 운영하던 캐빈을 베이커리로 개조해서 쓰고 있는데, 깊은 산속 오두막 베이커리 느낌임. 레드라이딩후드 나올꺼 같음. 세자매가 같이 운영하는데 둘째(?)분이 독일에서 빵을 배워오셔서 하신다고 함. 사실 빵하면 독일인데 우리나라에서는 상대적으로 프랑스빵이나 이탈리아 빵 등이 더 유명함. 사실 여기도 절먼 베이커리인데, 그걸 안배했는지 크로와상이나 퀸아망등 다른 빵도 취급함. 크로와상, 퀸아망, 슈판다우어, 크로와상 샌드위치, 프레젤 등을 주문함. 패스츄리 메뉴들의 겹이 예사롭지 않음. 너무 오일리 하지 않으면서 고소함. 인상적이었던 메뉴는 시즈널 메뉴인 리코타 허니 크로와상. 리코타 치즈와 제주 귤꽃꿀에 제철 복숭아를 넣었는데, 아주 맛있음. 상큼하면서 달콤하고 치즈의 부드러움이 마지막 지방욕을 채워줌. 슈판다우어는 우리가 보통 아는 덴마크빵인데 가운데 살구가 매우 상큼함. 생긴건 꼭 계란노른자 같이 생겼음. 겉의 패스츄리가 맛있으니 빵들이 다들 맛있음. 물론 독일빵인 프레첼도 직접 만드신 쪽파버터와 같이 주셨는데 꿀맛임. 무엇보다 맘에 들었던것은 오픈이 9시임. 제주도나 서울에서 브런치나 베이커리를 표방하는 대부분의 식당이 빨라야 11시에 오픈하는데 뭔가 이상함. 해장국집이 오후3시에 문여는 꼴. 자리가 잡히면 곧 식사빵도 많이 만드실 예정이라고 함. 분위기와 맛 모두 좋음.

가는 길이 그닥. 산 중턱에 있어서 계속 차로 올라가야해요. 커피는 상대적으로 비싸지 않은 가격이고, 핸드드립 커피 괜찮았어요. 크루아상도 괜찮았고요. 그 외에 이것저것 특이한거 좀 팔아요. 다만, 비 피할 수 있는 테이블이 3개 정도? 비오면 답 없습니다. 차에 갖고 가서 드셔야해요. 주차장은 공터에 세우시면 돼요. 주차걱정은 안 하셔도 될 듯 합니다.

가는 길이 그닥. 산 중턱에 있어서 계속 차로 올라가야해요. 커피는 상대적으로 비싸지 않은 가격이고, 핸드드립 커피 괜찮았어요. 크루아상도 괜찮았고요. 그 외에 이것저것 특이한거 좀 팔아요. 다만, 비 피할 수 있는 테이블이 3개 정도? 비오면 답 없습니다. 차에 갖고 가서 드셔야해요. 주차장은 공터에 세우시면 돼요. 주차걱정은 안 하셔도 될 듯 합니다.
