Jeju Gommak Restaurant — Restaurant in Jeju

Don’t Go if you are a Foreigner . We arrived on 18/9 evening at 7:45pm. The premise states it closes at 9pm. However we a small group of 4pax were refused service. The proprietor told us “NO” with very crude hand gestures and mannerism. Despite another guest happy to translate for us, we were still turned away. That’s just the tip of the iceberg because they continued to served the other guests in front and behind us whom spoke in Korean. Absolutely abhorring behaviour. Such businesses need to be called out for their unacceptable conduct. No review on the food but it definitely placed a huge dent towards our jeju...

A place visited mainly by locals, we only found this place because our Korean driver realised we were game for local cuisine.

The abalone porridge was very good but the star of the day was the sashimi noodles. Raw sashimi, noodles, vegetables and chilli all in one, like bibimbap. Highly recommended if you want a taste of local cuisine. It's right by the sea so it's meal...

Fresh sweet flavors of the sea

Abalone porridge gave a very warm hearty taste.

Grilled Mackerel was awesome and huge portion, comes with a bowl of rice. Slightly salty, so it goes really well with carbohydrates like abalone porridge.

Staffs are friendly and has some chinese speaking.
