Handmade buckwheat noodles, smooth and great texture. Ordered the spicy buckwheat noodles, adding the sweet and sour kelp vinegar adds extra flavour to the noodles. Not too spicy. The grilled pork was cooked to perfection and well marinated. Potatoes croquette with pork belly is popular here and a must-try. The croquette is buttery and crust is crunchy yet very light and fluffy. The pork belly is just the right amount of fats and dip that in the salt adds extra flavour to the meat. Buckwheat noodles in pork broth is delicious and the soup has great flavour and is milky. However if you order both, you should eat this before you try the spicy buckwheat noodles, otherwise the soup flavour will not be as apparent as it gets overpowered by the spicy sauce. Found this place on google and I'm so glad we went for lunch. The ambiance was welcoming and great for unwinding over lunch. Service is encouraged as self service, with ordering done on tablets at the tables. We don't read or speak Korean but the staff noticed that and came over to help, and switched the ipad/ tablet to English so we could order. This place deserves a rave review! If you are ever in Jeju Island, South Korea I highly recommend coming here! Gogi-Kooksoo is a popular local Jeju food and this is the place to order.
